JR Sena is a Managing Director at Compass Development Marketing Group in New York. With over a decade of experience, he approaches each project through an owner’s lens, meticulously guiding residential developments from initial concept—including unit mix, pricing, layouts, and amenity programming—through full market execution and lease-up.

JR works closely with leading developers including Rockefeller Group, The William Macklowe Company, Rudin, GFP Real Estate, Metroloft Development, TPG Real Estate Partners, L+M Development Partners, The Vanbarton Group, Taconic Partners, and RAY, bringing a strategic and highly hands-on approach to each assignment. He collaborates extensively with top architectural firms such as CetraRuddy, Handel Architects, and Fogarty Finger, ensuring that design vision and market strategy align from the earliest development stages.

Prior to joining CDMG, JR spent six years at Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, where he contributed to numerous high-profile developments. He began his career in fashion at Etro and the Greg Norman Collection, an experience that continues to inform his design-driven approach, complemented by a sharp understanding of market strategy.
